MethoDocs 801

MethoDocs 801 is a special hardfacing electrode with a rutile cover and high cobalt alloy. Special alloy weld metal provides very high resistance to metal-to-metal friction, and is resistant to corrosion up to 800 °C with its very low coefficient of friction.

It is used in many special applications such as roll applications in iron and steel plants, hardfacing applications on rails and pumps' bearings and shafts, extrusion dies, hot cutting blades, conveyor screws, wear parts, valve hard fillings, special drills.
